SAN FRANCISCO — In a ruling Tuesday, the judge in the OpenAI lawsuit declared that all statements made by CEO Sam Altman during the trial are to be considered 'product descriptions,' which are exempt from perjury statutes.

'Mr. Altman’s claims about AGI are no different than saying a hamburger will taste great,' said Judge Laura Mills. The prosecution will refile under false advertising law.
