WASHINGTON — The U.S. Mint confirmed Wednesday that production of the Semiquincentennial coin remains stalled pending Trump's verification that he personally signed the Declaration of Independence. Staff note the obverse is currently reserved for Trump's profile alone.

"We can't print history until he signs off on his role in it," said Mint Director David Ryder.
