WASHINGTON — The Justice Department confirmed Wednesday that Anti-Weaponization Fund claimants must submit investigated materials as proof of persecution.

Caputo filed 400 pages of emails Tuesday. The fund administrator noted submitting them confirms the investigation was justified.

"Essentially, if you weren't guilty, we wouldn't have bothered," said Fund Director Alan Kress.
